I want to do something different here by sharing with you my experiences (found in the links listed at the top). Below, you will find basic information about Reiki and Reiki instruction, but before you go there, I want to share with you that:

• I am a Reiki Master Teacher, Psychic & Spiritual Counselor with 250+ students in all levels of Reiki (as of 12/2008). Most of my students are in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas, but I have a few scattered throughout the rest of USA and in South Africa and India too!

Reiki is a subtle yet powerful hands-on and etheric healing. I describe it as pure, unconditional love. This simple method of healing can assist you in all of your bodies - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Most people who receive a Reiki healing describe their experience as very relaxing, warm, and a loving release. Reiki, when practiced as a hands-on method is a gentle touch, not a heavy pressure or movement. You are fully clothed during the process. Reiki can also be used in an off-the-body method, as well as over distance. For most sessions, I use both a hands-on and off-the-body approach and I check in with you to go over any boundary issues. When you arrive for your Reiki session we will go over a "Client Bill of Rights", which is to be used by all complementary healing practitioners in Minnesota. I offer Reiki sessions at $45/hour and a usual Reiki treatment lasts 1 hour.

I also offer healing attunements that help empower your healing intentions or affirmations. Reiki Psychic Surgery is another really effective technique that I use. I am available for Reiki healing sessions at my home office. Please contact me to schedule an appointment soon!

For those that are interested in learning a healing method, Reiki is wonderful! This type of healing is very simple and does not require you to be a "perfected being" in order to do incredible work on yourself or others. The Reiki healing energy comes from the Creator/Source/All-That-Is/God. As a Reiki healer you become a funnel for this energy; your own energy is never depleted. Reiki is not a religious practice, but many practitioners are on a spiritual path. Reiki becomes a part of your life, and the different levels denote a different level of commitment. Your commitment to healing combined with experience in this simple healing method can bring enormous positive changes into your life. You can be a wonderfully gifted healer at the Reiki I level.

Are you interested in studying Reiki? I am always conducting Reiki classes. Once you study with me you will always have my ear, my hands, my heart... I am here to help you connect deeply and strongly to Reiki and apply it to your whole life, not just the "now we are going to do Reiki healing" part.

My class sizes are small and I emphasize one-on-one training (no additional charge), especially for levels I & II. Because I like to teach the Advanced and Master level as a group class, I allow you to re-take Advanced and Master levels as many times as you like. Repeating these levels gives one a deeper understanding of the techniques. I also believe that it makes for a better learning experience for the "new" students at that level, and helps one to hone skills and become better teachers (if you go on to teach). That being said, I can also teach Advanced and Master level as one-on-one classes if requested.

I have flexible day, evening and weekend hours for teaching. I teach by sharing my experiences and am very interested in how you plan on using Reiki in your life. Each student is unique and special and is treated as such. That is why I love to teach one-on-one... to make sure you get your needs met! I know the difference between Reiki and other forms of energy healing through my own experiences as a healer. These classes are not rote, trite or tired. I am an experienced Reiki Master that is focused on teaching and helping my students to reach their full potential. The levels, hours and prices for Reiki instruction are as follows:

Reiki I - 6-8 hours (1 day or over several days with practice time in between) $125 ~ How to schedule a Reiki I Class with me
Reiki II - 4-6 hours (1 day) $150
Advanced Reiki - 6-8 hours (1 day) $200
Reiki Master Teacher - 10-12 hours (2 days) $600

Reiki I gives you a manual (used for I and II), an attunement (ceremony that "gives" you the healing energy for life) and lots of hands-on practice and discussion. Level I teaches ways to do healing on yourself and on others. Ethics and history (updated and true vs. myth and lore). Practical skills and ways of using Reiki in "non-healing" ways.

Reiki II adds using 3 healing symbols, ways to do healing over distance, ethics, and an attunement. We use the manual from the Reiki I class. Reiki in "non-healing" examples (psychic protection, blessing and protecting, manifesting, etc.).

Advanced Reiki deals with techniques for Reiki psychic surgery using your hands and with crystals. We also work with crystals and other advanced methods for doing distant healing work, using different Reiki meditations, share our experiences and discuss ethics. You will receive instruction on 1 additional symbol, experience an attunement and receive a manual specifically for Advanced Reiki. Click here for more information about the Advanced Reiki level.

Reiki Master Teacher has 2 additional symbols (and instructions) and an attunement. I teach you the attunement methods that "create" other Reiki practitioners for each level. We discuss the ways to teach Reiki to other people and share Reiki techniques. Healing attunements are also discussed and practiced. Most of the class time is spent in practicing the attunement for each Reiki level. You will receive a manual for Reiki Master Teacher that contains all of the class material.
